Page
layout and imposition applications are used when you wish to create
a file for printing or publishing. We recommend Adobe PageMaker or Adobe
InDesign for this purpose. These applications allow the designer to
place logo's and graphic designs on the correct size page more accurately
and reliably than a word processing application. This ensures that positioning
and layouts will remain stable through the design and printing processes.
As with your vector designs a folder called “fonts” and
a folder called “images” should be in the same directory
as the Adobe Indesign or Adobe PageMaker file. It is recommended that
your graphics and vector files are linked to and not part of your design
file and these folders should contain all linked graphics. Zip the entire
directory when emailing files to us, or copy the whole directory onto
your USB disk or CD when you bring it in.
